Ring Goal — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ring Goal (“the App”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our iOS application.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive:

A unique identifier issued by the provider (Apple/Google subject ID)
Optionally: your email address and display name (only if you choose to share them)

This information is stored on our backend (Cloudflare D1) and used only to identify your account.

Username

The username you choose is shown to other players in match-making, the leaderboard, and gameplay screens.

Gameplay data

We store anonymous gameplay statistics tied to your account:

Number of matches played
Number of matches won
Match results (timestamps, opponent ID, winner)

Technical data

A locally-generated player ID stored on your device (Keychain)
Your IP address is briefly used for matchmaking shard routing; it is not stored

We do not collect: contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, health data, or browsing history.

2. How we use your information

To authenticate you and keep you signed in
To display your username, stars, and stats to other players in online matches
To run the matchmaking system and pair you with an opponent
To compute leaderboards (all-time and weekly)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or any third party for marketing.

3. Third-party services

4. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active.
Match log entries are retained indefinitely for leaderboard accuracy, but contain only opaque player IDs.
When you delete your account, your profile is removed within 24 hours and your username becomes orphaned in match logs.

5. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → “Hesabımı Sil” (Delete My Account).

Deletion is permanent and removes:

Your profile (username, stars, win count)
Your active sessions

If you cannot access the app, email us (see Contact below) and we will delete your account within 30 days.

6. Children

The App is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete the account.

7. Security

All network traffic uses HTTPS (TLS 1.3 via Cloudflare)
Session tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain (encrypted)
Authentication tokens are server-issued JWTs, signed with a secret rotated periodically

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice.
